Graphic design applied to the internet is an exciting job for those of us who love design, since it offers the opportunity to think beyond the static images that print media offers. We can add animation, audio, video and much more. These components made the graphic design concepts evolve. However, you'll need certain information to start the development of any website. At this point it is key the effectiveness of this first phase.
You need to ask yourself the following questions:
What purpose will the web site serve? What do you want people to feel when they navigate through it? Who will be visiting your website? What is the profile of these visitors? How will the web site look? Do you need a data driven website ? How well will your Web Site rank on the major search engines?

 First we need a block of paper and a pencil in order to do many sketches. The environment for this phase must consider the usefulness and clarity for users.
They should feel pleased while navigating through your website. |
Here at Arnaez Creative Solutions we believe that the best websites start out with a shock of creativity and continue to show clear product or service information.
The second step to be taken, in order to develop any webpage, is to translate the sketch to digital format through a scanner. You may use low resolution like 75 dpi because it is only a graphic guide.
The third step to be followed is to use these graphs with any photo or design software. We use a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks MX and Dreamweaver MX of Macromedia.
 When you have obtained the shape desired you only need to add images or animated graphs. You can find these in the internet or take the pictures yourself and save them for a future personal image database. In our case, we have many image stock from third-parties, some personal pictures and others (like the mouse that shows on the top of this page) was made in 3D software, which make part of our Realistic 3D World Service.
Tips.
When you design web pages you must remember the following:

- Have a title, subtitle, normal text and define fonts and styles for each one. Try to use the same font throughout the entire website or limit yourself to three as maximum. Learn about the power and advantages of the CSS Styles.
- Be clear with the messages about your product or service.
- Use short texts if possible.
- Don't use commercial pop-ups, many people hate them.
- Choose a good variety of colors. Be careful with this.
